Current Programs
Our programs run from September to May, and students can start at any time, as long as there is available room in the classes.
Registration for the fall session opens July 1st.

Warrior Kids
Age 6 - 9 year olds
Tuesday OR Thursday
6:15 - 7:00 pm
This program is designed to introduce kids to martial arts. They will learn their basic blocks, kicks and strikes in a fun atmosphere. We place a heavy emphasize on developing self regulation and learning how to go from a high energy activity to a calm one. These skills are not only a foundation of karate training, but are very valuable life skills. In addition, we work on improving their strength and flexibility as well as balance. Once they have learned their basic blocks, kicks and strikes, we move on to combining these techniques, teaching them their first Katas (forms). Students wear a tradition white karate Gi (for new students, this is included with their registration). This program is 1 night a week. When you register, you will be asked to pick either the Tuesday class or the Thursday class. You can not switch back and forth between the classes.

Beginner Youth Program
White and Yellow Belts
Age 10 -13
Tuesday AND Thursday
7:05 - 8:00 pm
Our karate training is not just about learning how to kick and punch. It is a fundamental belief in our Association, that "we train to better ourselves". Although this is part of all of our programs, we really begin to see it in our youth age. This program is goes further than our Warrior Kids program, focusing on the traditional elements of martial arts, from technique execution, to character building. Like all of our programs, students wear a traditional white karate Gi. For new students, this is included in their registration fee.

Advanced Youth Program
Orange Belt and Up
Age 10 -13
Monday 6:00 - 7:00 pm
And
Tuesday OR Thursday
7:05 - 8:00 pm
With our White and Yellow Belt students, we are teaching the basics of Goju Ryu Karate. At Orange belt, we expand on these basics and begin taking their training journey further. We introduce the use of traditional Okinawan weapons (Bo, Sai and Tonfa), as well as self defense training. This advanced class gives our students a chance to explore these other areas of their training, while continuing to fine tune their basics skills. This class is by invite only. Please speak with a Sensei for more information about enrollment in this program.

Adult Program
Age 14+
Tuesday AND Thursday
8:05 - 9:00 pm
With our adult program, we focus on the core elements of traditional Okinawan Karate Do. Students learn basic blocks, kicks and strikes. We focus on Kata (forms) which helps students improve their techniques and increase their focus and memory. Both Kumite (sparring) and Bunkai (application of technique) are included in this program as well. Students progress through out belt system, from white to black belt. The journey is not easy, but it is worth every drop of sweat.
